The Transhumance of Bressanvido (VI) is an event that celebrates the centuries-old tradition of cattle migration and was recognised in 2019 by Unesco as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. This grandiose festival, now in its 26th edition, welcomes the most famous herd in the Veneto region as it returns from the alpine pastures. It is an opportunity to celebrate local culture with typical cuisine, food and wine products, wines and beers from the area. In particular, Italian-descendant citizens will be given a special space for participation and involvement during the transhumance celebrations with the proximity of the local authorities (mayor and councillors). In this sense, Italian-descendant communities will be given the opportunity to parade alongside institutional representatives in the Transhumance event.
