From October 10-13, 2024, come to Treviso and try to win the Tiramisu World Cup. The competition is for competitors from all over the world.
You don’t have to be a professional to enter, just choose whether you want to compete with the original or creative recipe.
In 2024, the eighth TWC will be held.
Tiramisu, is a typical dessert in the Treviso tradition. The real tiramisu was born in Treviso in the 1970s in the restaurant “Alle Beccherie.”
Here Loli Linguanotto together with Ado Campeol codified the dessert that has conquered the world.
Actually at the base of this dessert is sbatudin, a kind of cream formed from yolk and sugar from the Veneto peasant tradition whose origins date back to at least the 18th century.
In addition to eggs and sugar, key elements are: ladyfinger cookies, mascarpone, coffee and cocoa.
The two pastry chefs mentioned above had the important merit of combining the various ingredients, creating a work of art in its own right.
